Overview
Bocklite is Polyethylene closed cell foam that is available in sheets (#617S1) or prefabricated cones (#617S2) for fabrication of soft inner sockets or as padding.
Bocklite sheets:
- Use for fabrication of soft inner sockets or padding for prosthetic sockets
- Polyethylene closed-cell foam
- Sheet Shore Hardness: ~ 35° Shore A
- Sheet Density: ~ 140 kb/m3
- Good thermoforming properties
- Available in white and beige
- Good adhesive and sanding characteristics
- Temperature recommendation: 225°F (107°C) (convection oven or heating plate)
- Sheet size: 1,000 mm x 1,000 mm
- Thickness available in 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm
