The new adjustment app for myoelectric components from Ottobock. 

The connectgrip app for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets makes it easy for O&P professionals to quickly and conveniently program Ottobock myoelectric arm and hand prostheses. Easy adjustments, real-time signal visualization, and individual motion recording for movements, joint switching and unintended movements are all made possible with connectgrip.  

The connectgrip app works with myosmart to program speedhand, bebionic, SensorHand Speed, VariPlus Speed, Greifer, Dynamic Arm & Dynamic Arm Plus, ErgoArm Electronic Plus and MyoBock accessories.  

How do I get started?  

Open the connectgrip app with your MyOttobock account. If you do not have a MyOttobock account, please register via the “Register here” link on the log-in screen. The connectgrip app will automatically direct you to register a “MyOttobock Pro” account, which is the O&P Professionals version of MyOttobock. 

IMPORTANT: If you already have a MyLearning account, please use the same email address to set up the MyOttobock account so that the accounts are automatically connected. These two sites will provide a digital connection between taking an online certification course and receiving software access to program an Ottobock myoelectric product. Certified Prosthetists will be required to have a common email address that connects the two sites. You can change the email address in MyLearning but not in MyOttobock once it is set up.

Availability 

  • Currently must be used in conjunction with the myosmart Control System 
  • Compatible with myosmart Master to program speedhand, bebionic, SensorHand Speed, VariPlus Speed, Greifer, Dynamic Arm & Dynamic Arm Plus, ErgoArm Electronic Plus and MyoBock accessories
  • Data Station PC software will remain available for existing products

  • A MyOttobock account in which certifications are stored via a digital handshake with MyLearning makes the app convenient to use on different mobile devices.
